It's Spring: True or False?

BEAUTIFUL day today in Montana! Spring might be taunting us, but winter looks to be on it's way out!

Went on the first hike of the year today! It was great!  It was a balmy 50 something degrees. Went on the Rescue Creek trail for a bit. Sun shining, snow melting, and animals out and about. While it was clear of snow, the mud and gush was out in full fledge. Acting like quick sand! But with weather this good- can't pass it up! Already feeling that Vitamin D giving me energy.........hopefully more sun to come soon (I just won't think about the rain that comes with spring just yet)!

Texas Roots

This past weekend I went down to Texas to visit my grandparents and family. It was quite a change to go from -14 degrees in Montana to 84 degrees in Texas. I wasn't prepared for the sudden change in environments. As soon as I got off the plane I was burning up. What is this thing called sun? Palm trees, cactus, and shorts!

Shine

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.'
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others
