March in Alaska is winter, but then it's not. The light has returned, the temperatures have warmed, and life (particularly socially) begins to emerge. Recently I was lucky to host guests who experienced this "cushy winter month." The trip was filled with downhill skiing (Danny developed mad skills), skiing to glaciers, and playing with ice.
